Warwick’s headquarter in Markneukirchen will host one of the most unique training camps ever been in Europe in co-operation with „Gitarre & Bass“; the „Warwick Bass Camp 2014“.
The tradition of manufacturing musical instruments in this eastern area of Germany goes back to 1677, but instead of building violins, the younger success story is being written by german manufacturer „Warwick“; using the slogan „Basses, Amps & Rock ’n’ Roll“.
For four days, about 80 bassists out of Europe are being given the opportunity to learn from the best: some of the best low-key-workers around the world.
The lecturers will be from different musical styles & countries. We will announce the professors for 2014 as soon as possible on this website.
In small groups topics like „playing techniques“, „how to design a meaningful bass line“ are discussed, as well as tips and tricks for the music business, like "surviving in the real musical world" will be an issue.
Being worn out of so much information, one might want to join a guided Warwick-factory tour at any time, visit the Framus-Museum or the Musikinstrumenten-Museum of Markneukirchen.
During the evenings, participants may find thoughtfull exchanges with colleagues and tutors staying at a comfortable spa hotel.
Warwick Bass Camp will take place from 01.09.2014 until 06.09.2014, the amount of tuition is € 699 (this includes 7 nights at the Hotel IFA Schöneck Ferien Park, equipped with sauna, pool, and dinner at Restaurant Alpenhof).
For further information:
All participants will please supply their own instruments, amps will be taken care of by Warwick.
The tutorial calender will be published on this site soon. Bass Camp’s daily language will be English.
All participants are also invited to join the „Warwick Open Day 2014“ on Saturday 06.09.2014.
